Master Andrew Hill 6th Dan

Andy Hill is the Chief Instructor and Founder of Pilsung Taekwondo. Andrew who started Taekwondo in 1986 after training in Ju Jitsu and Karate for a number of years, trained under the IL GI Taekwondo Association based in Lancashire under Master Craig Waddington 6th Dan. Taekwondo in Sheffield was under the banner of the IL GI Taekwondo Association until Master Tim Evans gained his 4th Dan allowing him to take Kup gradings. From this Sangmu was created which was headed by Tim Evans, John Gobbard and Nick Maskley. Sangmu was now independent of IL GI. After training under Sangmu for a number of years and gaining his Black Belt 1st Dan, Andrew Hill formed his own club still under Sangmu, but later changed his club name to Pilsung. When the British Taekwondo Federation (BTF) folded and after spending time with British Tae kwon Mudo Academy, Andrew moved his club to the BTCB the official governing body for Taekwondo. Since moving here Andrew has had much success with his student as well as being a coach. His clear passion for Taekwondo has been noticed my various people with in the organisation and he has been due awarded with various positions within the BTCB. He is also a high respected martial artist & coach with in Taekwondo and other martial arts, because of his excellent teaching skills and ability to bring his knowledge of other combat forms to Taekwondo. In the late 1980's and early 1990's Andrew was a keen fighter and travelled around the UK fighting regularly in tournaments, and still does to this day.
